Our friend Melody, and her baby Otis, from New Zealand came over last night to stay for a few days. Her husband, Bret, is the manager for the band NoFX and they're on a Japan tour right now.

Otis is a real cutie, so you should be seeing a few pictures of him in the days to come.

Things are going well, though I am still in employment limbo.

The office is full of boxes and bags because we are moving to a new office tower next week -- one of the biggest in Tokyo: quite prestigious I've been told. I'm actually dreading the move because I love our current neighborhood, and I know that all of the restaurants near the new office are going to be outrageously expensive.

In other news, Karen and I are going back to Canada on May 5th for a few weeks.  I haven't got the tickets yet, although we've booked the flight. We're a bit worried that there's going to be a problem with the ticket because of her being pregnant. I'm sure we'll work something out though.

Above are a few cheery shots from they park last week.

Enjoy!

Not much new on the job scene as of late,...but you're probably sick of hearing about that anyway. Above are some pictures from my new office if you're still curious.

Things are looking a little bit up today.  My new manager agreed to my salary request and said that he would talk to the president and straighten everything out.

I'm still skeptical....
