Soooooooo busy today -- in a good way though. After months of trying to weasle myself into the web design department at work I've finally managed to do it, and now they're going to test me out for a while. I got to rewrite some Javascripts from a big site that they're working on.  Whoo-ee, sounds fun, don't it? I know, but it is fun, trust me.

Above are a few more shots from Monday when I went to the ikebana show.  The show was in a museum which is in a park.  The shots above are from the park. Enjoy.

You're great for come'n back to visit me here at hunkabutta -- just great. Thank you.

Japan is slowly moving forward, day-by-day, one plodding, tradition-bound step after another, like it doesn't even realize that I'm here. Like it doesn't even realize that I have implanted myself in it's soft underbelly like a tick and am sucking on it's salty economic juices. In other words, the money keeps coming in, work is good, I like my job, but nobody cares, nobody notices. Such is life when you live and work in a foreign country -- you feel like you're travelling but everyone else around you feels like they're stuck at home.

Above are a few photos that I shot at an ikebana (flower arranging) exhibition at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum which I went to on Monday.

Interesting link of the day...

I never knew that people used money, I mean the actual, physical paper notes to spread messages and propaganda -- really interesting idea.

I'd never gone deer hunting before I found this site

Do people who make wrestling sites actually believe that it's real, or are they pulling people's legs?
