Had a nice Saturday shopping for CD's in Shibuya -- Got two new Blind Reverend Gary Davis albums!! On the way home, caught a bunch of guys playing drums in front of the incredibly busy Shibuya station.

Yesterday was a busy and interesting day, hence the lack of a posting.

I went to immigration to get a new visa (see the right-wing posters above), learned how to use DOS commands so I could save my dying computer, and ended the day by seeing a great 'Jug Band' at a pub near work. I TOTALLY want to join that band, and I told them so last night -- We'll have to see how that goes.

Today I'm lonely in the office -- I miss Scott and Amanda who have both moved on the better things. So, I decided to post some pictures today that I took on Amanda's last day here, when we went out for lunch together.  Alas, there are no photos of the actual lunch (I had seafood gumbo), but I did snap a lot of pictures on the way to the restaurant.

link for today...
For those of you out there who, like me, are currently contemplating what to name your soon-to-be-born baby, I offer you this.

Great day for pictures today! Bright. Sunny. Clear.

Left for work a bit late today because I had to go by my old English school to pick up a letter of release and tax slip. I need them so that I can reapply for a new work visa through my current employer, an Internet incubation company -- Netyear. Saw my old boss, Mr. T, he's look'n good and says that business is great.

The school's in Gotanda, hence the above pictures from around the station. On my way back to the office I got off at Shibuya station, hence the rest of the pictures.  In Tokyo, without a doubt, a train station is always the heart of its district.

This just in.....

Does anybody else think that these life like baby dolls are creepy, or is it just me?
